Reincarnation
Have you lived before?
In order for us to understand reincarnation, we must first know why reincarnation exists, and to understand this, we must get acquainted with our own selves. Who ARE we? We are not flesh and blood bodies. We have these mortal bodies which are more or less like temporary abodes for us, which allow us to experience a certain way of being whilst we are on this planet, in the realm of material consciousness.
So, if we are NOT our bodies, then who are we? We are souls. We are vibrations, we are waves of energy. We are, we might say, bodies of light and love, which vibrate at very high frequencies, and these frequencies are not compatible with the denser, heavier vibrations of material consciousness. All positive thought forms vibrate at high frequencies, and all negative thought forms vibrate at lower frequencies. Earth or the realm of the material plane, causes us to be in body consciousness. The moment we allow our body consciousness to lead us, we fall prey to a host of negative thoughts and negative emotions which include anger, fear, insecurity, and various other types of negative thought forms. Negative thought forms are, to put it simply, those that create our isolation from our Creator.
Let me say this in a different way. Long, long ago, we were created as souls. Pure unadulterated love and light vibrations of energy. We were created in the image of our Maker, in that we had Free Will. Some of us chose to use this Free Will to further our individual aggrandizement. Consider this: one drop of water separated from the mighty ocean, loses all potency of might. When that drop of water is reunited with the ocean, it becomes the ocean. Whatever the ocean as a whole can do, it can also do. When we give this statement a thought, we might be able to see how we have caused our own downfall.
As souls, then, we came wandering to planet earth, saw matter, the world of denser vibrations. We desired to experience matter. And so, we entered matter. At first it was easy to enter and leave at will. We had Free Will. But the catch with Free Will is that it follows the Universal Law of Cause and Effect. As our intent gradually became more drawn towards material consciousness, so our actions reflected it, and so did our consciousness, giving rise within us to emotions which dwell only at lower frequencies.
